On July 15, 2015, Leesa donated 320 mattresses to revamp the beds in all of The Bowery Mission’s shelters and residences for men and women across Manhattan. The Bowery Mission has served New York City’s most vulnerable for over 136 years, striving to transform the lives of men, women, and children caught in the cycles of poverty and hopelessness into lives filled with hope, joy, and lasting productivity. Last year, The Bowery Mission provided more than 392,000 meals to men, women, and children, 98,000 nights of shelter, and 45,000 articles of clothing.
